After Ea assassinated Apsu, the shattered remains of the creators all seeing eye spilled matter into the fresh and salt waters of the cosmos. At this point enraged Tiamat calls on her advisor: Quingu, who will help her make war on the 2 younger celestial gods. Tiamat collects shards of Apsu's eye and fashions 8 Crystal Talismans and gives them to Quingu who places them into his Tablets of Destiny. He wears them proudly on his breastplate with each crystal containing celestial powers of the gods and combined with his tablets, he can now control the fate of their destiny. With Quingu now as her champion, Tiamat summons the forces of chaos and creates 8 horrible monsters to destroy her children. While Marduk was traveling the Cosmos recruiting their elder siblings for war against Tiamat and her 8 monsters, Ea calls on Marduk to return to face Tiamat. Once Tiamat is distracted, Ea plans to hunt down Quingu to steal his Tablets of Destiny containing the powers of the Crystal Talisman and take back control of the fate of his siblings. Will he find Quingu in the depths of the Cosmos and take back the Crystal Talisman or will Tiamat's 8 Monsters find him first?...
